Abusive OG
Summary
Heavy and relaxing with a taste of euphoria. This strain expresses typical indica traits.
Genetics and General Information
Abusive OG is also known as Abuisive or Abusive OG Kush. A popular Californian cut of OG Kush, Abusive OG is an indica strain that inherited the nickname of its original grower. Despite its violent name, Abusive OG will ease you into in a peaceful state of mind that fades over time to a full-body relaxation. True to its OG genetics, Abusive OG has an earthy spice aroma with subtle lemon undertones. Patients who don’t mind mental haziness might choose this strain to remedy pain, anxiety, appetite loss, and sleeplessness at the end of their day. Abusive OG may not produce the highest yields in the garden, but makes up for it with resin-caked buds. This comes from the same grower who grows our Oreos.
Review
By Troy
Abusive, oh Abusive. What is there left to be said about that sweet, sweet Abusive. Yes, the time has finally come after the better part of a decade for me to share a review of our most popular, most asked about strain to ever grace the Kind menu. That’s right, I’ve never reviewed the Uber-popular, always requested Indica Indoor Abusive because… Well… I’ve never really had to. It flies off the shelves and moves nearly everyday we have it up and if that doesn’t say something about the strength, popularity, and all around incredibly heavy experience of this popular, powerful strain I don’t know what would. If you’ve had the strain, you know exactly what I’m talking about. And for those of you that specifically request these fluffy buds, you do too. But for those of you that haven’t yet, let me tell you that you are severely missing out. I like to think that the more known and popular strains - Blue Dream, Gorilla Glue, Girl Scout Cookies - are automatically on people’s radars, but Abusive is the strain that puts Kind above the competition in the Indica flower market. In all my years of working with Kind and talking to all the patients, Abusive with its deliciously sticky texture, heavily relaxed and sleep inducing effects, quick-acting droopy eyes, and the extreme relaxation in mind and body that comes with it are what make it, in my humble opinion, Thee Top Shelf Of The Top Shelves. I never say this in my reviews, but please do yourself a favor and get some of this. We don’t always have it, but when we do there’s rarely ever a complaint. I’d go so far as to say the Indoor Indica Abusive OG is the quintessential Kind flower - strong, heavy, high-quality, and oh so sticky.
Medicinal Uses:
THC dominant Indica strains such as Abusive OG tend to act as more of a sedative or relaxant for most people. Many patients have reported great success in treating the symptoms of medical conditions such as anxiety, chronic pain, insomnia, muscle spasms, digestive issues and tremors.
Some people, particualry those who have been diagnosed ADD or ADHD can have the Indica/Sativa scale flip on them. For many of these patients Indicas will provide the effects typical of Sativas. This can cause THC dominant Indica strains such as Oreos to tend to act as more of a stimulant with a cerebral or "heady" high. These patients will likely have better success treating symptons in the areas of appetite stimulation, relieving depression, migraines, chronic pain and nausea.
